This is a Sterling Silver Sugar Spoon by Gorham in it's very rare Isis pattern was created c. 1870. Designed by George Wilkinson; Gorham's lead designer; it has a rectangular handle that terminates with a pointed dome button. The central part of the handle is round and connects to the bowl with a cobra with vulture wings. This is a traditional symbol from ancient Egypt featured on the Pharaoh's crown. The bowl of Berry Spoon has the original gilding and measures 7.5 inches long and 1.5 inches across the bowl. Un monogrammed, in good condition with very light signs of use in the bowl. Valued between $1,000.00 - $1,500.00
