One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite & diamond ring with a bright finish. The featured tanzanite is framed by two large round diamonds, within a bezel of smaller round diamonds, supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Trademark is Orianne. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set square cushion mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 8.00 x 8.00 x 5.19mm, approximate weight of 2.59ct., clarity is slightly included, type I, dark, slightly grayish, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 7/2), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion. Graded mounted. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Two bezel set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 3.60 - 3.60 x 2.16mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 2 Stones = 0.34ct. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present, including surface feathers and cavities. Graded mounted. Clarity: I-1. Color: G - H Sixty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.45 - 1.10 x 0.79mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 60 Stones = 0.52ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-2.
