One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast diamond ring with a bright polish finish. The ring features a diamond trio supported by an elaborate lattice under gallery, completed by a one and one-half millimeter wide band. The ring is reminiscent of the jewelry designs from the Edwardian Period. Lace translated into diamonds. This is the phrase used to describe Edwardian jewelry. The Edwardian Period was a short period, dating from 1901 to 1910, during the reign of King Edward VIII, son of Queen Victoria It had its roots in the final years of the Victorian period. Diamonds were made to look as fine and delicate as possible. Princess Alexandra, Edward's wife, and the Princess of Wales had a great influence on the jewelry of the period.
